The auction firm, RM Auctions sold this 1957 model Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa for $12.4 million in Maranello, Italy in 2009, breaking the world car-auction records. One of the most desirable Ferraris ever offered at the auction, it is constructed in only 22 numbers, making it so exclusive. This racing car was built in 1957-58, emerging with 10 victories and hence it became one of the most competitive racing Ferraris ever built.
In December 1957, 0714TR was delivered to its first owner, racing driver and future coachbuilder, Piero Drogo in Modena, Italy. It is coming in its cute black body with admirable red nose.

1957 Ferrari Testa Rossa Prototype broke all the previous records of car-auction history. It was sold for $16.39 million in the Monterey auction. Somebody really needed the car!
This is the prototype that started the entire Testa Rossa series, the iconic sports cars. It was assembled with a classic V-12 engine, a de Dion rear axle and a right-hand drive. Its Pontoon-fender coachwork was designed by Scaglietti.
