Aasif Mandvi:

It was at the age of seven that the young comedian made his first performance at a school play where he made his appearance as a pixie with a bonnet and tights. It was from here that his road to success in comedy began.

He joined “The Daily Show With Jon Stewart” as a correspondent where he entertained his audiences by taking on titles like “Senior Asian Correspondent”, “ Senior Muslim Correspondent” etc, where he produced his satire on different races like South Asian, Middle Eastern, Muslims etc. He is also an accomplished actor and has been a part of productions like Broadway’s Revival of “Oklohama” and “Disregard”. His one man show called “Sakina’s Restaurant” led him to have won the Obie award and was later turned into a feature film called “Today’s Special”. He is also always known for being a journalist with integrity.
