Developed and released in the year 2003, CCleaner supports a number of programs including, Internet Explorer, Firefox, Google Chrome, Opera, Safari, Windows Media Player, eMule, Google Toolbar, Netscape, Microsoft Office, Nero, Adobe Acrobat, McAfee, Adobe Flash Player, Sun Java, WinRAR, WinAce, WinZip, GIMP and other applications. Also it can clean up browsing history, cookies, Recycle bin, memory dumps, file fragments, log files, system caches, application data, autocomplete form history, and various other data.

#5 WinDirStat:

WinDirStat is a disk space analyzer programme that can evaluate and report details of a particular hard disk, like performance of the hard disk and details on memory usage.

Most of the people credit this software for its sub-tree like view with disk use percentage alongside a usage-sorted list of file extensions that is interactively integrated with a colorful graphical display. Developed by Bernhard Seifert and Oliver Schneider, WinDirStat was created as an open source project under the GNU GPL.
