Seoul:
Seoul takes the seventh position on the list with a score of 8.2. The city is considered a leading global city, ranking eighth in the Global Cities Index of 2012. It is the capital of South Korea and is also one of the world's top ten financial and commercial centers, home to major multinational conglomerates. In 2011 Seoul was also voted the top travel destination by Japanese, Chinese and Thai tourists for a third consecutive year. The city has much technologically advanced infrastructure.
Osaka/Kobe:
As per the study about 57 percent of respondents believe brand position is very important to the economic development of a country and 54 percent to cities. Further57 percent believe brand positioning is very important in attracting business from foreign companies and investors, and 61 percent for attracting tourists.
Osaka/Kobe is the eighth best Asian city in terms of location branding. It has a score of 8.0.
