Albert Gonzalez hacks TJX
Albert Gonzalez, is the hacker who masterminded the largest credit card theft in U.S. history from 2005 to 2007using SQL injections. Gonzalez stole more than 90 million credit and debit card numbers from TJX and other retailers, including shoe sellers DSW, OfficeMax, BJs Wholesale Club, and Dave & Busters.
He is also the man behind the hacking of Heartland Payment Systems in 2008 where 134 million credit cards' information was exposed through an SQL injection to install spyware on Heartland's data systems. In 2009, the hacker was sentenced to two 20-year prison sentences, the lengthiest sentence ever imposed in the United States for hacking.
