Aptech charts upward growth in international market

MUMBAI: Aptech Limited, a training and education major, has announced an increase in revenue of over 32 % from international operations year on year, for May 2004. In absolute terms, the revenues of May 2004 stand at USD 3.76 million as compared to USD 2.84 million for May 2003, showing an increase of USD 0.92 million. This follows impressive growth in countries such as Turkey, Vietnam and China. Says Pramod Khera, CEO & Managing Director, Aptech Limited, "In the past year, the international division of Aptech has contributed as much as 48% of the global revenues of the organization (Rs 426 crores). We've grown in the international market by attuning our products to industry requirements. Also, addressing customers' needs has seen Aptech's marketshare rise steadily in markets such as Vietnam, Turkey and China over the past year." Aptech commenced international operations in 1993 from a single center in Bahrain and occupies the leadership position in China, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Nigeria and Columbia. Aptech's current international operations encompass countries across Latin America, South East Asia, Middle East, APAC and SAARC. In the past decade, Aptech has seen concerted growth in the international sphere due to its keen understanding of the market and focused marketing efforts towards bridging geographical and language barriers.
