2. Where to place the Pooja room?

Pooja room is the most sacred place in the house and it should be placed in the North-East corner of the house. The main source of prosperity and flourishing wealth depends on the north-east corner of the house and so it is called the corner of God. If you find any problem setting the Pooja room in north-east direction then you can place it in the East corner as well. Vastu rules the flow of positive and negative energy in the house. Directions like east, north and north-east are the zones that bring in positive energy for work. And it is advisable to use these aforementioned zones for Pooja room inside the house. It is always better to avoid dark colours like black to paint Pooja room. Placing Pooja room in the north-east direction invites peace, prosperity, good health and happiness. The early morning sunrays fall in the north-east side which is a great source of positive energy. Always keep Pooja room clean and tidy.
