4) An Eco-village

Preseli Mountains of West Wales houses all sorts of homes including this most interesting and unique eco-village. This eco-village in West Wales has underground huts made out of mud and straw. Inhabitants of these beautiful huts produce their own power and crop their own food.

Surprisingly, this unique eco-village community was founded back in 1993 and has maintained their secrecy for several years until it was discovered in 1998. These underground huts were hidden between trees and bushes but in 1998, the reflection of solar panel was spotted by a pilot but officials could not find any legal records of planning permission for the village. Therefore, the officials demanded to demolish this eco-village but later the villagers obtained the planning permission and continued enjoying their eco-friendly lifestyle.
