Nemetschek Group Partners with JJ College of Architecture in India

The Nemetschek Group has signed a memorandum of understanding with the JJ College of Architecture in Mumbai, becoming a single leading provider of digital transformation services for the AEC/O segment. With this strategic collaboration, both parties support innovation and skill development in the Indian architecture sector, hence contributing to the Government's Skill India program.

It has been decided that JJ College of Architecture will act as the Nemetschek Center of Excellence. The response to it has been very encouraging from institutions such as IITs. Apparently, on their part, Nemetschek India is willing to work very closely with the local firms and educational institutes here. Specially designed marketing campaigns, professional training sessions, and workshops for developing talent and encouraging innovation will be adopted by the company. Strategies in an adaptable mode, as per requirements on the local level and market conditions, will be prompted through a process of constant engagement with the stakeholders.

It also opens a new office for Nemetschek in India, which is simultaneously opening an R&D center based in Hyderabad. Having already positioned itself to serve India's ambitious infrastructure projects the National Infrastructure Pipeline will include 9,500 projects Nemetschek is increasing efficiency and innovative power in the industry by providing its advanced BIM tools and integrated platforms.

The company, according to Yves Padrines, CEO of the Nemetschek Group, is committed to India, as workflows are streamlined, project timelines shortened, and sustainability is furthered by energy-efficient designs. Other CSR initiatives would include workshops on sustainable construction practices and collaborations with local communities for development projects while contributing to charitable causes.
