Navratri celebrations at Godrej Garden City

Godrej Properties Ltd. (GPL) (BSE scrip id: GODREJPRP), the real estate development arm of the Godrej Group, today announced that it will be hosting this year's Navrartri festival 'Navras Navratri - Navla Gujarationi Navli Navratri' at Godrej Garden City, Ahmedabad from October 5th to 12th, 2013.
The festival will be held for all 8 days at its 'Central Greens' in the township. The festival is expected to draw huge crowds and will host artists like Devang Patel and Arvind Vegda to name a few. The programme is unique in its first ever idea of creating day-based-themes. Some of the key themes this year are 'Professionals day', 'Finance Professionals day', 'Youth day' and 'Family Garba day'. There will also be an exclusive zone for kids to play garba everyday.
GPL has also released a special navratri song on this occasion, 'Go crazy and let's cheer...a haalo' sung by Arvind Vegda which will be aired at various garba venues in the city. On 12th October, which will be the last day, the venue will host the best of dancers from garba venues across the city in association with Red Raas by Red FM
Godrej Garden City is located just off SG Highway in the heart of Ahmedabad. The project is within Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) limits and is easily accessible from any part of the city.
