Namma Metro as a portent of realty boom in Bangalore

South Zone:

Extension from Puttenahalli to Anjanapura will be a fully elevated stretch of 6.30 kms with five stations.  This metro stretch will cater good connectivity to Industrial belts of Harohalli and IT hubs on Kanakapura Road and in Electronic city. The section is already seeing incredible residential development due to the launch of numerous residential projects and areas like Kanakapura Road and Banashankari are in a buzz in realty development. The areas along the stretch like JP Nagar and Jayanagar have experienced utmost capital appreciation.

New lines:

The new lines in the network from RV Road to Bommasandra which is incorporating the North-South corridor is covering total length of 18.82 km with 16 stations namely Bommanahalli, Electronic city, Chikka Begur, HSR Layout, Jayadeva Hospital, Ragi Gudda Temple and many others.

The another new arterial line from Gottigere-IIMB to Nagawara which is incorporating the East-West corridor is covering a length of 21.25 km where 14.20 km covers underground and seven km elevated with 18 stations, in that six elevated and 12 underground. The stations are at J P Nagar IV Phase, Gottigere, Nagawara, Pottery Town, Dairy Circle, IIM-B, Cantonment Station, Shivaji nagar and many others.
