Large Terraces, New Luxury Buzzword for Bangalore Buyers

Bangalore: The IT hub, Bangalore is one among the city that has been developing at a fast pace in India. The city has witnessed several changes over the decade including building patterns. This means, conventional building structure made a gradual shift into luxury and super luxury condos, villas and penthouses. Even developers are coming up with innovative ideas in construction field packed with world-class amenities to attract potential homebuyers.

Interestingly, super-size terraces have become a luxury catchphrase among Bangalore home buyers. Condos or penthouses that come with large open spaces or terraces, is the latest status symbol for the elite class in the city. Such open-spaces used best for sit-outs, party areas and private gardens, reports Anshul Dhamija of TNN.

For instance, DivyaSree developers are coming up with a luxury project named 77° Sky in South Bangalore which is offering semi open-spaces between 1,032 square feet and 1,662 square feet, equal to the area of an average apartment of one-bedroom and two-bedroom.

Even some luxury apartments are offering terraces coupled with beautiful scenic view. Embassy Lake Terraces is a residential development situated in North Bangalore that offers open-spaces somewhere between 770 square feet and 1364 square feet overlooking the beautiful view of Hebbal Lake. "Villas in the Sky, that's what developers are offering those who can afford it," said Ram Chandnani, Deputy MD, South India, CBRE South Asia, a global consultancy firm, reports Economic Times.
