Curtains & mirror:

Light colour curtains should be used for bedrooms. In bedroom, red and black colour should be avoided. And prefer dark colour curtains for living room. More should be preferably to place on north and east wall of the room. In study room and opposite to bed in bedroom, the mirror should be avoided.

What to avoid?

According to vastu, the house should not have any dark interiors. Illumination is an important thing for a house. A house with dark light and cold weather looks creepy and also gives unnatural feeling due to which family members can fall sick and unhealthy. Ensure that you do not build or buy house close to cremation grounds, graveyards, hospitals, jails, areas of genocide, butcheries and adjacent to a place of worship.
