Godrej Properties to Develop Plotted Township in Panipat, Targets Rs 1,250 Crore Sales

Godrej Properties has announced the acquisition of a 43-acre land parcel in Sector 40, Panipat, Haryana, marking its entry into the city’s real estate market. The company expects to generate over Rs 1,250 crore in revenue through the sale of residential plots from this new development.
In a regulatory filing made on Monday, Godrej Properties stated that the project will feature approximately 1.02 million sq. ft. of plotted residential development. While the deal value remains undisclosed, the acquisition represents the company’s fourth residential plotted township project in North India.
This strategic expansion reinforces Godrej Properties’ focus on plotted developments in high-growth regions. “The project fits well with our strategy of expanding into new markets for plotted development. Haryana has been a key market for us, and we look forward to developing a quality plotted township in Panipat that creates long-term value for its residents,” said Gaurav Pandey, MD and CEO, Godrej Properties.
The company, one of India’s leading real estate developers, emerged as the top performer in the 2024–25 fiscal year in terms of sales bookings. It recorded property sales worth nearly Rs 30,000 crore during the last financial year, further strengthening its position in the Indian real estate market.
