Godrej Properties completes Phase 1 of Godrej Garden City

Godrej Properties Ltd. (GPL) (BSE scrip id: GODREJPRP), the real estate development arm of the Godrej Group,commenced the handing over to customers of Phase I of Godrej Garden City (GGC), Ahmedabad. There are 624 apartments in 13 towers that have been delivered in Phase I of this project.
GGC is located just off SG Highway in the heart of Ahmedabad. The project is within Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) limits and is easily accessible from any part of the city.Godrej Garden City has been recognised as 'The Best Residential Project' in Ahmedabad at the CNBC Awaaz Real Estate Awards, 2012. Residents will benefit from living in a well planned integrated township with extensive landscaping, public
transport, health-care facilities, recreation options, convenience retail and a 6 lane central boulevard. The Global Indian International School will be operational in Godrej Garden City from April 2014.
The master plan for the project has been created by world-renowned architects Skidmore, Owings and Merrill (SOM), who have designed numerous landmark projects across the globe including the Burj Khalifa in Dubai, which is currently the world's tallest building.
