- Project to include 4.2 million sq ft of residential, commercial, and retail space in a high-growth corridor.
- Part of broader expansion, including recent residential, plotted, and premium launches in East Bengaluru.
Real estate major Brigade Group has acquired a prime 20.19-acre land parcel along Whitefield-Hoskote Road in eastern Bengaluru for Rs 588.33 crore. The acquisition, made through its subsidiary Ananthay Properties Private Limited, will pave the way for a Rs 5,200 crore mixed-use development featuring residential, commercial, and retail components.
Located in one of Bengaluru’s fastest-growing corridors, the site enjoys strategic proximity to major IT parks, industrial zones, and upcoming infrastructure projects. Brigade plans to develop a built-up area of 4.2 million square feet on the newly acquired land, the company said in a regulatory filing.
“This acquisition aligns with our vision to develop landmark destinations that integrate living, working, and leisure. The Whitefield-Hoskote belt is poised for exponential growth, and we’re excited to contribute meaningfully to its transformation”, said Pavitra Shankar, Managing Director of Brigade Enterprises.
This marks the company’s second major investment on Whitefield–Hoskote Road this year. In January, Brigade had announced a residential project worth Rs 2,700 crore across 20 acres, also via Ananthay Properties. That project is expected to offer a total saleable area of approximately 2.5 million square feet, with the land costing around Rs 630 crore.
In addition to these, the company continues expanding its footprint in East Bengaluru. In April 2024, Brigade entered into a joint development agreement for a plotted development project in Malur, valued at Rs 175 crore. Spread over 20 acres, it has a total development potential of 0.45 million sq ft and marks the group’s debut in plotted developments in the region.
Further strengthening its residential portfolio, Brigade launched Brigade Insignia in June 2024 in Yelahanka, a premium project comprising six towers and 379 luxury apartments.
With a revenue potential of rs 1,100 crore, the project spans six acres and offers 3, 4, and 5 BHK configurations.
Brigade’s latest acquisition underscores its commitment to shaping Bengaluru’s evolving real estate landscape.
