India's Most Expensive Realty Deals

Bangalore: The vibrant nature of India’s real estate market has managed to survive even during sluggish market situation. Even though the country is witnessing slowdown in property transactions, there is no such decline in property prices in ultra-luxury segment. The real estate industry is booming in India and the country has witnessed some of the biggest property deals where moguls are spending crores. Below is a list of some of expensive real estate deals that were finalized lately.

1) Most expensive realty deals in Delhi

a) Property Deal: rs111 crore

The residential real estate sector has made a new record with rs10 lakh per yard for a bungalow sale on Dharam Marg in Chanakyapuri. Ahmedabad-based drug-to-power firm, Torrent Group has brought the bungalow close to Lutyens Bungalow Zone (LBZ) for whopping rs111 crore. LBZ is one of the most expensive residential localities in India which is home to several prominent figures. Spread on 1112.4 square yards plot, this expensive bungalow is located close to the American Embassy in Delhi. It is said that the bungalow sale in this price bracket is recorded as the most expensive property deal in the city.

b) Property Deal: rs170.15 crore

Sandeep Jajodia, Managing director of Monnet Ispat & Energy, bought a house worth rs170.18 crore in South Delhi. This house spans over 2000 square yard plot in Delhi’s Shanti Niketan. This mansion is in close vicinity to Delhi's one of the most posh areas Lutyen’s bungalow zone.  This area is home to a many high net worth individuals (HNIs) like high-profile businessmen and politicians.
