Checking Credentials

Most of the time projects face challenges while obtaining approvals from legal authorities. This leads to delays in completion as well as developers are forced to scrap the project which can further harm home buyers causing huge loss, said Shweta Jain, Executive director of Cushman & Wakefield, reports Economic Times.

It is always better to check whether the builder has all the requisite approvals before starting a new project. So, before make a final call, check the land ownership on which the project is to be launched. To check the ownership of the land, you must ask the developer to provide you the land allotment letter, in case the land has been bought from a government agency.
