Bangalore Real Estate Award 2012- Winners Announced

Bangalore: Today's real estate market is driven by Quality, Design, Architecture, Environment Balancing, Amenities and Technology that the builders are using. Builders & developers are creating a differential mark through proper project management and quality construction.

SiliconIndia in association with LIC Housing Finance Ltd presented Bangalore Real Estate Awards 2012, which was an initiative to identify and recognize the leading real estate industry professionals, who have played a vital role in the growth of real estate sector in Bangalore.

George Johnson, National Director-Corporate Finance from Jones Lang LaSalle spoke about Broader Trends in the Real Estate Market while giving the inaugural keynote and felicitated the winners.

These awards were instituted under 11 categories to encourage infrastructure development, foreign investments in the local bodies and real estate growth and companies especially in terms of innovation, quality, reliability, technology and continuous improvement.

Over 80 nominations were received from across the city from builders and developers who nominated one project per category. After an aggressive short listing a distinguished panel comprising of four jury members decided on the awardees.

The jury comprised of Sangamesh Upase, Deputy Control of Finance from Karnataka Government, H.C. Shivakumar, Advocate from SMS Associates, Dr. S. Muralidhara, Associate Professor, Dept of Civil Engineering at BMS College of Engineering and Pradeep Shankar, Editor-In-Chief at SiliconIndia.

The winners and their categories are as follows.

Ultra luxury project of the year was won by ETA Star Property Developers for their project Beau Monde.Sobha Developers for their project Sobha Petunia won the Luxury project of the year.

Mid – Range Housing project of the year was won by Puravankara Projects for their project Purva Venezia and SNN Builders for their project SNN Raj Serenity.  Affordable Housing Project of the year was won by Sowparnika Projects & Infrastructure for their project Sowparnika Chandrakantha.

NBR Developers & Builders for their project NBR Green Valley won the Residential plot development of the year so did Windsor Gardens win the Residential Integrated Township of the year award for their project Windsor Township.

Residential Environment friendly project of the year was won by Biodiversity Conservation India for their project BCIL Zed Woods. Commercial property of the year was won by Mantri Developers for their commercial project Mantri Square

Three successful real estate professionals won the Young Achiever’s Award.Nitin Agarwal, Managing Director, SNN Builders and Ravi Menon, Chairman, Sobha Developers made it to the list

Snehal Mantri, Director Marketing, Mantri Developers and Meenakshi Ramji, Director, Sowparnika Projects & Infrastructure were declared the  Women Real Estate Professional of the year. Emerging Developers of the year was given away to Godrej Properties, Sovereign Developers & Infrastructure and Habitat Ventures

The award ceremony followed with cocktail and dinner was a huge success.
