Working/Currently
Development/Support of Business Intelligence Systems for
HR/Payroll
• Liaise with users to assist in the definition
of information requirements that support business decision
•
As requested by users examine business information and collate
information in a meaning full format
• Development,
maintenance and documentation of reports/files to meet external
agencies, departmental an management requirements
•
Provide advice to managers and users on appropriate data sources
for reporting needs, quality review activities etc.
•
Liaise with users and IS staff in defining and documenting
business, requirements, developing, testing and implementing
reporting changes to existing applications.
• Technical
management, product support and enhancement
• Assist in
the support of the Oracle Financials (11.5.7+) application,
ALESCO and associated technical documentation.
• Apply
Oracle patches and application upgrades as necessary,
appropriately tested and certified in Test system in accordance
with change control processes.
• Resolve incidents and
problems relating to the application.
• Assist in the
preparation of documentation that provides estimates of time and
IS and business resources required for the application upgrades,
patches or other modifications.
• Development/Support of
KPIs & Business Intelligence Systems for current applications
• Liaise with users to assist in the definition of
Information requirements that support business decisions.
•
Provide advice to managers and users on appropriate data sources
for reporting needs, quality review activities etc.
•
Develop and maintain data repositories for core and other
applications.
• Data analysis and modelling of data from
core application databases.
• Documentation of procedures
and data glossary.
• Develop ad hoc and canned queries
that provide Management with information requirements.
•
Modify and enhance existing canned queries as required.
•
Development and support of EIS using packages such as Business
Objects, Web Intelligence, and associated tools.
• Liaise
with application vendors to resolve application problems, log
bugs, review requirements for enhancements and manage version
control.
• Manage the implementation of fixes and upgrades
to the Business Intelligence systems, ensuring the appropriate
testing has occurred and change control procedures are met.
•
Liaise with users, and IS staff, in defining and documenting
technical requirements and developing, testing and implementing
changes to existing data repositories.
• Assist in the
preparation of Functional Specifications including estimates of
time and technical resources required for the required
changes.
• Technical development, maintenance and
documentation of reports/files to meet external agencies,
departmental and management requirements.
• Ensuring
operational procedures are run as required to enable the
efficient operation of systems.
• Liaise with KAZ Managed
services team in securing support for databases and other
applications.
