Heading the purchasing, operations, warehouse activities to
ensure appropriate scheduling procurement and movement of
materials between warehouse and project area. Inviting
quotations from transporter, lifters, contractors, and comparison
of quotations, placing of orders Supervising for the safe
receipt, storage, retrieval and timely dispatch of
materials. Inspecting the materials loaded or unloaded
against work order and scheduling the time of shipment and mode
of transportation. Coordinating for the material within the
warehouse and organizing for certain stock. Spearheading the
teams and dealing with personnel issues such as the recruitment,
training and discipline. Monitoring the packing and
distribution activity. Handling the administration and
general management issues including the day-to-day supervision of
staff, and overseeing work organized by team
leaders. Imparting training to the staff and monitoring
their performance and progress. Maintaining the stock
control systems up to the date and planning future capacity
requirements. Preparing SRC Report (Stock, receipt &
consumption) on daily basis. Doing inventory audit on weekly
basis. Making site visits to monitor the condition of the
material delivered and quality of service they are receiving.
Overseeing the maintenance of machinery, store and
equipments use for loading and unloading. Scheduling
employees, vehicles, arranging drop offs and deliveries and
scheduling. Checking and verifying shipping records,
handling questions or concerns of shipping shortages or overages
and addressing any problems with inventory control.
Verifying the driver’s license, vehicle or transporter
documents and other despatched documents at the time of delivery
/ dispatched of material. Initiating the GRN against PO
(Purchase order) or STO. (Stock Transfer Order) in
SAP. Issuing material in SAP against work order.
Transferring from warehouse stock to respective
vendor/contractor. Monitoring the vendor stock periodically.
Issuing the material to the project site and making correct
posting against the correct WBS (Work Break down Structure) in
SAP form warehouse. Looking after the reports of material
utilization against the project, given by the vendor /contractor
and approved by the Engineers. Transferring the material
from vendor stock to WBS in SAP and reconciling the vendor
stock. Submitting the reports to the commercial department
regarding the holding of the material by the vendor so that the
commercial department will take care of the respective vendor
against payment. Doing stock reconciling at the end of every
month by comparing the SAP stock with book stock (maintaining
manually/manual stock register) and physical stock. Sending
stock reconcile reports to NHQ on monthly basis. Providing
support to other department / colleagues regarding problem came
against above transaction. Conducting comparative analysis with
actual material issued to WBS. Making correct service entry
in SAP after checking the bills submitted by service
provider. Tracking the expenses occurred at warehouse &
preparing the budget for the smoother running of
warehouse. Generating and updating the reports in SAP for
the future perusal of the organization. Formulating plans
for fulfilling the material requirement for the assigned projects
after taking Drawing, BOQ, Budget and Stock of material in to
consideration. Evaluating the inventory levels for purpose
of raising purchase requisitions or purchase in quantities
based on usage and forecast. Performing the reservation
