Plans For The Future:
We intend to have expanded our presence to significant number of tier 3 tier 4 cities by that time.
Degrees That Matter:
I am an engineer and pursued MBA after that. I feel both of these help me a lot in what we are trying to do here. While my training as a software engineer helps me understand and stay abreast of the latest in the technology world, the gyaan that I accumulated during my MBA helps in the multiple areas that I have to deal with in our start up.
Changes In The Professional Environment:
India is becoming a magnet for start ups, mainly for guys of Indian origin. From what I have read in the various autobiographies of the US based success stories we are in a similar stage where silicon valley was, sometime during the 90s. We are in the right place and the time is right to make it big.
The Decisions That Matter
Picking up the courage to start up was the biggest decision that I made in my otherwise "smooth" Career so far. It's extremely challenging to break the "Inertia of Rest" and I needed a lot of motivation and inspiration before I took that decision.
The Journey So Far:
After engineering I worked for about an year in a software company after which I went on to pursue my MBA. Post MBA I joined a financial services company and after spending about 5 years with them decided to do something of my own.
Professional Strengths:
I guess exposure to diverse functional areas of a business.
Growth Strategy:
To be honest I dont get a lot of time as of now, but I would love to read lot more books.
Job Profile:
We dont have a very structured hierarchy and we have a group of 3 people taking all key decisions. I form a part of that group
