Main Purpose of Job: To provide support in measurement and analysis of Quality data for Thomson scientific patent production processes in order to achieve continuous improvement in product quality.
Role:
Collect and analyse data on the process and product quality for patents based products (Documentation Abstracts Journal, Tailor Made Profiles, Industry and Technology Profiles, Content Management System Loading and Extraction, World Patents Index Online).
Conduct regular internal quality audits to ensure patent information published are in line with quality standards and customer expectations
Analyze errors and discrepancies in quality of technology-specific integrated solutions and make recommendations for improvement and / or changes in editorial policies and practices
Provide regular reports and feedback to all business sub units and management regarding levels of quality targets, highlighting and explaining deviations.
Act as a link between suppliers and internal production teams in facilitating the flow of information both ways.
Develop strategies for optimizing QC/QA processes through use of technology, and support Global Editorial Managers in implementing technology to improve data consistency
