Key Deliverables:
1. Jigs / Fixture Repair
•Receive the
customer request regarding the fixtures. •Organizing and
monitoring manpower for repair &trouble activities. •Study &
analysis of inspection fixtures and other
tooling’s. •Organize rectification of tooling’s and plan
for necessary machining & heat treatments. •Organize repair
and replacement of damaged/worn-out fixture parts. •Study for
better design &improvement in tooling’s and feedback to design
department. 2. Trouble Shooting Planning •Spares planning of
machining as well as inspection fixtures & other
toolings. •Receive tool & fixture drawings from design
department & study. •Prepare spares lists & maintain the
reorder level. •Raise indent against the shortages for
various agencies like production planning, material planning &
purchase contract engineering cell. • Preparing daily
report of planed v/s completed activities & presenting it to
superiors during daily review. • Follow up &
co-ordination with diff.agencies like material planning &
purchase, production planning,contract engineering cell, central
tool design, central jigs / fixture design department, machine
shop, auto division, maintenance etc. •Preparing control
plan, customer satisfaction index plan etc.
