Important decision

As a Income tax Officer cum Assessing Officer I have completed more assessments and made additions were necessary. I have suggested 2nd appeal in some cases. My important decision is that I should make assessment that there should not be loss to the Revenue. Here in my firm my part is please the client in maximum possible way that they should accept and admit the income as provisions of direct tax laws

Important lesson learned

I have learned in 40 years of official and 6 years of practice with Chartered Accountant office that we should be sincere and honest and hard working person to win the bosses and also for our self satisfaction.

Degree that I recommend

For a Tax adviser a person should be a graduate, he should be thorough in direct tax knowledge. Basic accountancy cum Tally knowledge should be a must. Every person should have at least CA inter knowledge to work in chartered accountant Office.

My strongest skill

My strongest professional skill is follow strictly direct taxes law and practice. Advising the client to the right bath to maintain the books of account and admit the income honestly and avoiding the penal actions for evision of income.

Thoughts on Education system of our country

Our education system is one of the best system in the world. Our students went abroad for further studies. After completing their studies they settled abroad. My request to the education authorities and the government to pass necessary orders to begin advanced studies in our colleges and make Indian studies equivalent to foreign studies. At the same time I request the government that financial burden should not be more.

Couple of years from now

In a couple of years our India will be a self sufficient country. Our standards of life will be improved and we will work in all fields such as science and technology, accounts, nuclear etc.,

More about myself

My sincere request to the government and private companies appoint right person to the right job. The person concern should also honest to his work and show his might to their superiors and bosses.

My role model

My Senior Officer, who is a Class I Officer who worked in the department sincerely and honestly without any flaw in his work. Even the audit not found any mistake. He is simple man with simple attire and he use to come office either by bi-cycle or by walk. One day he has come to office by walking, one person seen him and asked him to come in his car. He refused and came to office a little bit late due to raining . The person who offered him lift waiting for hearing. He immediately called the assessee and seen the books account and accepted the accounts and passed the orders accordingly. This impressed me and given the advice not to accept any sort of favour from any body.

Qualities needed to become a successful leader

A leader should be a honest person and he should not expect any favour for doing public work

My family consist of my self my wife and my three children. Two sons and one daughter Except my self all are post graudates

My achievements

I have given good eduction to my sons and daughter. They are settled in their life. I am proud that I have given good eduction to sons who are studied in foreign universities and got the masters degree. It is a proud to me

I am a Retired Income tax Officer, having vast experience in tax matters. I have worked various fields in Direct tax matters. As Assessing Officer have I have completed various assessments in various situation. In some cases the additions made by me sustained appellate authorities. In the year 2005 I am retired from service. Now I am utilizing my experience in my Chartered Accountant firm in various fields such giving advice in direct tax matters to our client and my auditor partners. Most of the finalization of accounts are routed through me and I have verified them and certified them that according to direct tax procedure the income computed correctly.
