these are Delhi, Bangalore, Gujarat, Punjab (Chandigad),

Achievement:- • Established Nashik as cost efficient “Fruit
& Vegetable collection centre” • Working on establishing
private mandi at Nasik for Subhiksha – involves area mapping,
property finalization & making it operationally feasible
• Successfully managed monthly procurement of 600 MT onions
& seasonal procurement of 200 MT grapes, & 200 MT tomatoes
• Daily procurement of F & V directly from farmers. (8 MT.)

Profile: • Planning & management of day-to-day and long term
Supply-chain activities. • Building relationship with growers
and registered suppliers. • Implement field level
productivity enhancement programs, which will help to improve
harvest quality at low production cost. • Organizing
farmer’s association & cooperative societies, contractual
farming, corporate farming, and development of registered
suppliers within existing trade. • Coordination between
suppliers / Supplier’s Organizations / Channel partners and
Company’s Market Department to build, sustain and manage
commercial relations with suppliers. • To look after suppliers
/ Supplier’s Organizations / Channel partners payments.
• Conduct Training programs on how to maintain proper
transparent records for the staff of cooperative societies and
collection centers. • Help to conduct periodic
audits. • Making reports on implementation of crop plans,
production forecasting, arrivals, prices, and market trends for
the company’s ‘Market’ department. Key
Achievement: • With own initiatives established three self
help groups of farmers for onion procurement to reduce the cost
of purchase. It was a cooperative where company supported with
seeds & technical advice. 3) Frito-Lay India, Ranjangaon
(Pune) as Agri. Executive (Aug 03 to 14 Mar 05) Job
Profile: Contract Farming: Development of contract farming of
potatoes in Pune (Ambegaon, Rajgurunagar) & Satara. Identifying
the best geographical areas suited for the crop. Contact the
farmers for cultivation of potatoes, providing them quality seeds
(by selling), getting agreement done for stipulated rate. To
offer incentives to those farmers who produce potatoes of desired
standards. Also promoting advanced practices to improve the
yield. After care: To educate farmers with technical
knowledge about  Sowing, usage of fertilizers, fungicides
and insecticides.  Pest and disease
management.  Practicing best harvesting methods.  Post
handling of the produce. Purchasing of Potatoes: To purchase
potatoes directly from the traders, farmers and market, which are
matching company’s quality standards (from Pune, Satara,
Nashik, Indore, & Hassan) Store Handling: Worked on
centralized system based on Oracle programming. This
responsibility also involves generating Purchase Orders, Goods
Inward Note, Maintaining records of purchased potatoes, payment
records, maintaining records on flavor, texture and appearance of
final products. Storing of Potato: Worked for cold store
department, which stocks potatoes for the off-season. The storing
is done as per the required quality standards. Key
Achievement: • Successfully handled various aspects of food
procurement, processing, cold storage, store handling & logistic
support.
