SAIL Bokaro Steel Plant, Bokaro. About 100 IT professionals of
BSL and IBM India Ltd are working for implementation of ERP in
BSL. Maintenance of the assets of the ERP Centre, including
the activities such as insurance, repairs, and other associated
work. Identification and facilitation of procurement of
different technological requirements of ERP Centre.Providing
manpower for Security & safety of the premises.

Coordination with various Departments of the organisation and
District Administration for providing Sports & cultural
facilities to BSL Employees & their wards within the company’s
guidelines. (Present employee strength in BSL –
25000) Organising various Sports and cultural programs for the
development and entertainment of employees of the organisation
focussing on quality presentation. Maintenance of the assets
of the organisation such as five Community centres, one Kala
kendra, Stadium (Football & cricket) & other Play grounds,
Swimming pool including the activities such as insurance,
repairs, manning for safety & security round the clock of the
premises and other associated work. Identification of the
requirements of various Games and Sports and identification of
the dependable and cost effective vendors for their supply to the
organisation. Arranging procurement of the required items within
the budget and arranging payment to the suppliers. Managing of
SAIL Football Academy entrusted by SAIL management at Bokaro
Steel City which has 50 talented footballers selected from all
India tests. Arranging selection trials at various locations
with the help of out station offices of SAIL in the country.
Managing their Lodging, Boarding, Education, Insurance,
Participation in local and All India tournaments. Reporting of
their achievements to the Management of the organisation.
