Could you tell us briefly about your family background?

I am Vanita Srinivasan Iyer, Founder and CEO of Egeria.
I live with my husband and in-laws in Andheri, Mumbai. My Husband Srinivasan works for Accenture, Mumbai as a Business Analyst. My father-in-law is an ERP and Oracle consultant and runs example consulting group.

Advice For New Professionals:

Be clear in what you want to do in life and work with passion.

Done Differently:

I love teaching and would have got in to full time teaching in a Management school.

Other Thoughts:

Nothing on top of my mind. Will take sometime to recollect.

The Journey So Far:

I come from the education fraternity. I worked in Welingkar Institute of Management, Mumbai in the areas of Sales and Marketing and then moved on to work for a Bluetooth Marketing company as Sr.Account Manager.
Post my Masters in Marketing Management I choose to be an entrepreneur.

Working Life Management:

No procrastination ... Best way to achieve work life balance.

Growth Strategy:

Continuous up gradation is required. I read books related to Human Psychology. Listen to improve my communication. Doing certification courses.

Prized Accomplishment(s):

With 3 years in the Industry, have managed to get clients like Mumbai International Airport Ltd. , Siyaram Silk Mills, Asian Paints, Dr.Batra's Homeopathy clinic.

Role Model:

Nothing specific. Everybody is talented around me and so everyday keep learning new things from them to improve my skill sets.
