Thoughts on Education system of our country
Let us divide the need of education in 2 main areas - Urban and Rural.
1.Urban Area covers appx.10% of the children .The Institutes are private run and Government run .Private run Institutes are delivering results at a very high cost .Children not able to afford the cost go to Govt.run schools. So ,there are systems for education but in the hands of people who have made it a profitable business. Here you have Quality but it is not affordable .Suggestion- More no. of good institutes at affordable cost.
2.Rural: 90% chidren in villages read in Govt.run school or private run school.Limitations- Inadequate school building, no approach road, less teachers, charm of teachers in private tutions .Suggestion- employment of teachers, providing school building, approach roads, water & electricity, etc.
3. The problems are enormous ,Regulators/controllers are not effective- make them effective. How ?Increase literacy, people will be aware only then quality and quantity will improve.
Important lesson learned
I being an Industrial Engineer , worked for 8 yrs in an Industrial Engineering Department for a concern of great repute and then transferred to production Department as a shift-in-charge. A person who thought that this step was an injustice became very upset and created all possible things to show me down and expected that the matter against him should be reported to the boss. After a week he became impatient and approached the boss to take feed back about my reactions and complaints . The boss said that he has not told anything against you rather he has praised about your knowledge and sense of discipline. He also said that you are co-operating him .He was shocked to get this feed back as he had imagined in his mind all the events and had prepared defensive arguments to tell to the boss. This man changed and became my best friend and supporter and used to tell this story in happy hours. This happened because of my Tolerance which created a dependable friend out of a foe.
Brief description about me
I was born on 1.07.1945 in a village in North Bihar, My father was a teacher and mother a housewife. I did my Engineering in 1964 from BIT Sindri and was married to Asha in the same year. On 1.09.65 I joined Indian Explosives Limited (IEL)and worked there till 1.04.2009.I have two sons Prakash and Vikas who are well settled ,married and having one lovely girl each.I am settled at Ranchi(Jharkhand). After retirement I continued to work as Consultant first doing it part time but since last year it is full time in Nagpur .My wife always inspires me to work and keep myself useful for someone.

As a Timestudy man , I am leading a very disciplined life and stick to plan.I get up daily at 5.30am, do morning walk ,yoga & Mana Force exercises and get ready for duty after taking very light break fast.My duty hours at present is 10am-6pm,however, the travel time wise it is 9 am- 7.15 pm. I stay with my wife and enjoy & pray God -He has given me work to do, people to train and develope .

SATISFACTION- I WORKED IN A FACTORY FOR NEARLY 44 YRS ,JOINED AS A-GRADE STAFF AND RETIRED AS OPERATION MANAGER .I RETIRED WITH HONOUR AND GOOD REPUTATION AND I AM VERY PROUD OF MY 2ND ACHIEVEMENT.
Couple of years from now
I strongly believe that the job of teaching and training people and helping them to grow and develop is an honourable endeavour . The quality keeps on improving by adopting new and useful ideas and there is no pressure in this job. If there is opportunity,I can become a professional teacher/trainer working for Industries.
Important decision
DECISIONS CAN BE CATEGORISED AS :
1.RELATED TO SERVICE : ALL MAJOR DECISIONS WERE NOT INDIVIDUAL.IT IS GUIDED BY HIGHER AUTHORITY.IN NEGOTIATION, REMIT IS FIXED BY HIGHER AUTHORITY, WE CAN ONLY FIDDLE WITHIN THE RANGE.
2.SELF RELATED :SON'S EDUCATION,MARRIAGE,WIFE'S MEDICAL TREATMENT,HOUSE PURCHASE.
My role model
MY ROLE MODEL IS VIR HANUMAN JI FROM RAMAYAN NOT ANY MORTAL BEING.
REASONS FOR CHOOSING VIR HANUMAN JI:
1.HE WAS PHYSICALLY, MENTALLY,SPIRITUALLY VERY STRONG.( I STRIVE TO BE )
2.HE PREFERRED SERVICE AND FULLY DEDICATED HIS LIFE FOR SHRI RAM ONLY.( I HAVE GIVEN MY SERVICE TO EXPLOSIVES ORGANISATION ONLY)
3.HE WAS A GOOD NEGOTIATOR, INFLUENCED BIVISHAN,SUGRIVE.(I ALSO USE NEGOTIATION SKILL IN UNION).
Initiative to develop a country
Sir, I don't know if professionals of any developed country have done this and their country ranked as Developed. A village can be developed by such efforts but not a huge country.Development needs resources, power which can come through big Organisation .
Degree that I recommend
I wish to acquire some professional certificate which will give me recognition as a trainer/teacher.
More about myself
I have practiced 3 things in my life which have given me happiness and satisfaction:
1. TAKING CORRECT DECISION .( SOMETIMES IT IS WRONG ALSO)
2. TAKING EXCELLENT CARE OF HEALTH ( SELF & SPOUSE).(A STICH IN TIME SAVES NINE)
3. FORM GOOD HABITS & SHUN BAD HABITS.( I DON'T TAKE TEA,NO SMOKE,NO DRINK,PLAIN NON-SPICY FOOD.)
& LEAD A HELPFUL AND HURTLESS LIFE.
Ensuring success
Self analysis:(A)

c) chiken/fish 2-3 times in a month.
d) 10 glasses of water/day.
(B)Self analysis - How to keep my mind useful to deliver the service:
*Aim is to keep training persons at different level in Factory , rating them under different heads and evaluating the weak areas. Training them in weak areas and then re-evaluating after 3-6 months.the aim is to raise the level of knowledge and awareness of the related people.
I read and collect useful materials from net and prepare slides for presentations and training. Thus people will grow and so shall I.

Influenced by
I have been influenced by my dear father who was a High school teacher .He was thorough in his area of learning, was very regular and punctual in attending his school. He used to live within his means, had very high self respect and lived happily with my mother till he was 82.My mother was next who inspired me to continue my education and upheld that no marriage till I finish my education which was a rare idea in those days in villages. Mother used to save money and used to help the needy which had earned good reputation for her . She used to negotiate family quarrels of the villagers.

I analyse that the quality of honouring time, habit of saving ,helping needy and negotiating and self respect are all that I have inherited from my parents without doing any serious efforts. Parents were the best role model for me.
