My dream is to become a software engineer and I am now a Software Engineer.

Memorable Achievements

When I was a student in college. I was always interested in participating in taking classes to my Juniors. There was memorable moment in my life when I am studying M.C.A. One day a B tech faculty member approached me by saying that " Vasu I came to know that you are very much interested programming and can you take a class for your Juniors". I was imagined to hear that and immediately accepted there requested thinking that it was a great opportunity for me to show case myself. I took a class on the same day and C++ Programming language which was well appreciated by faculty members as well as my juniors. My juniors became best friends of mine after this class.

Spare time activities

I like to play Caroms, shuttle and cricket during my leisure timings. It was a hobby during my schooling and college days most often. Once I joined the job as you know, we don't have that much leisure time and anyway I am continuing playing caroms these days and occasionally rest of the games.

Challenges for first job

It was a good question as long as I am concerned because I don't have a good percentage in my graduation and I became reason for loosing vital opportunity coming for us. It was a hard stop for me to attend many campus selections. Sometimes I used to loose my heart and courage as I could not able to get a chance to attend the Campus Interviews and prove that i am perfectly suitable for this Industry. I was waiting for an opportunity and I got a chance to attend interview for Polaris Company - Hyderabad. I gone through all the rounds and I got rejected in the last round of my interview. It was again a hit on me. My next company was UST-Global and never thought of clearing it as it was a off campus selection and many people will be attending this interview. It was a three day selection process and Imaging I crossed 1 by 1 rounds and finally awaiting for the results and surprisingly I got selected among 4000 members. It was the most exciting day in my life up to now as I conveyed it before

Career expectations

I want to be Team Leader in coming 3 Years of time.

Favorite Subject

C#.Net and asp.net as presently I am working in the technology.

Knowledge Extension

Nothing else, other than surfing the latest technology updates and reading them.

My M.C.A friends who helped in identifying my strengths as well as weaknesses and fight with them to again confidence on weak areas as well.

About myself

I am Vasudevarao Dora Gontu and I was born and brought up in Srikakulam. My schooling and entire education up to graduation was at my home town itself. For the first time I stepped out of my home town for perusing my Post Graduation. I did my post graduation at G.I.E.T College of Engineering & Technology in Rajamundry and that was my turning as I can able realize my actual strengths and polish them up. Finally I got selected in UST-Global in an off campus at Visakhapatnam from a Group of over 4000 members attendance. It was the most exciting time for me in my life time up to now. My Personal opinion about life is : " Life is always one and the same as long we don't realize our strengths and weaknesses and work on them to become a better human being and to build better life style.

My strength is my confidence and will power do anything. Weakness is I am little bit less social in earlier days.

I would like to read the books of the leaders and great personalities in India.

I don't want people to be treated different by there orison and birth. All the people are one and the same.

Family Background

Prior to my father my family was totally into cultivation and farming. I father and his sibling are first to do graduation at that time.

My first company was a just start up company in Hyderabad[ IndusTouch Software Solutions]. No Expectations at that time other than being a software professional.
