Educated at Holy Cross School in a small town called Silchar (Assam), I took my life's first big leap in 2000 when I joined Cotton College, Guwahati. I completed my graduation in English and then came to Delhi to study journalism.
I completed my journalism from Bharatiya Vidya Bhawan, New Delhi and then joined as a teacher in an English speaking institute. I worked there for 6 months when I got my first break in journalism in 2005
