TO TILL DATE CURRENT COMPENSATION: 2,60,000 P.A [INCLUSIVE OF
BONUS] WILLING TO TRAVEL ABROAD: YES. ACHIEVEMENTS GAINED:
Awarded as a best business tester by standard chartered bank
for the REAL TIME GROSS SETTLEMENT [RTGS] core functionality
testing done for a new core-banking payments product DOTOPAL.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: CORE BANKING PROJECT
IMPELEMENTATION ROLE: DESCRIPTION ABOUT THE PROJECT: Our
core-banking product Hogan - IBM product is being replaced by a
new product developed by ourselves [standard chartered bank]
called EBBS and DOTOPAL which was supposed to get implemented by
September 2008. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Ø Gathering the
requirements from the business and interacting the same to the
business solutions team on the preparation of the functional
specifications of the product. Ø Ensured that the functional
specifications prepared by the business solutions team have
captured all the requirements specified by the operations team
through the means of providing appropriate
presentations. Ø Provided the sign off for functional
specifications document prepared by the business solutions
team. Ø Performed USER ACCEPTANCE TESTING, SYSTEM INTEGRATION
TESTING, INTERFACE TESTING and CORE FUNCTIONALITY TESTING for all
the wholesale banking products such as ELECTRONIC BRANCH, REAL
TIME GROSS SETTLEMENT, NATIONAL ELECTRONIC FUNDS TRANSFER,
STRAIGHT THROUGH SERVICES, WEB BANK, SWIFT ALLIANCES, COVER
PACKAGES FOR CORRESPONDENT BANK FUNDING for the new payments
product DOTOPAL. Ø Test scripts that are prepared and executed
have met the expected results as per the requirements given in
the FUNCTIONAL SPECIFICATIONS and giving the sign off for each
and every releases. Ø Working closely with development teams to
transfer the business knowledge and provide guidance from a
functional perspective. Ø Conduct/support functional testing to
ensure proper implementation of requirements. Ø Identify issues
in requirements, design specifications and product
documentation. Ø Mitigate risks to Business through timely and
precise execution of test cases in user acceptance
testing. Ø Interacted with the business solutions and
development teams on the gaps whichever is not being captured in
the functional specifications document. Ø Ensured that the
products are being designed according to the functionalities
mentioned in the FUNCTIONAL SPECIFICATIONS document prepared by
the business solutions team. Ø Ensured that all the WB
transaction types for the internal funds transfers are also being
executed and the expected results are being
documented. Ø Ensured that all the bugs and the defects that
are identified by testing the WB products are raised to the
development team with appropriate documentations in
place. Ø Prepared the DAY 2 releases business requirements
documentation based on the gaps that are being identified from
testing the existing products and ensured that are same are being
captured under the functional specifications document being
prepared by the business solutions team. Ø Analyzed the
keystrokes that are being maintained in the existing product and
have prepared the keystrokes requirements documentation to be
implemented for the new product. Ø Participate in project
meetings to provide feedback and statistics of the project in
relation to the test quality. Ø Took part in the preparation of
Project plan, user acceptance testing. I also took part in the
meetings with Sr. Business Analyst and project managers and
understood various process plans, business process, and
functionality in detail. Ø Participated in the conference
meetings with the higher officials in the WHOLESALE BANKING GROUP
on a periodical basis by providing an appropriate status of the
project and system capabilities to get the same released into the
production. Ø Conducted the walk through presentations to the
business users and explained to the users about the usage of the
