Keep updating

I believe in regularly updating myself. I read, both online and in print. At my work premises we have a small but informative library open to all employees.I have feedback lunch sessions with small groups of employees, five at a time, where I listen to them and take feedback on myself, and the company

Be passionate about the work.

If the person intended to enter into data analytics field then the scope is really bright as the data analytics market is growing both globally and in India. But like in every field, competition is tough. I would advise professionals to be passionate about their work, to be hungry to gain knowledge.
Family Background
I am from a Gujarati Jain family in Ahmedabad. My family has always had an inclination for crunching numbers and it really is in my blood. Analytics is my true calling in that sense. I met my wife at North Carolina State University in the USA. She is a Tamil Brahmin, from Bangalore.
Plans For The Future:

The Decisions That Matter
Well, originally I completed a Master’s degree in Paper Engineering. But my interest in Business led me to opt for another Masters,in Management from NCSU(North Carolina State University. This is where I was first exposed to Analytics. I felt that this was really a fit for me and I started my career
Career Profile:
Previously I acted as if the “buck stops here” i.e. I need to be fully accountable for mine and my teams actions but there used to be a chain of command who I reported to – Today, the “buck really does stop here” – I am accountable to my team and my clients but the sense of accountability continues.
Working Life Management:
My weekdays are dedicated to work, even the evenings. But my weekends are completely for family. I don’t take work home. Only Family and Friends on weekends. My children really enjoy that time and so do I.
Job Profile:
I am a co-founder of both of my ventures, IQR Analytics and ADSA, and I am an analyst at heart and by profession. At IQR Analytics I oversee the projects & guide the overall strategy. At ADSA, I am part of the Faculty. I am passionate about it and I get students excited about Analytics and its power
Degrees That Matter:
Masters Degrees in Math, Statistics, Business are best suited with a Bachelors in just about any area as long as you love numbers.
Advice For New Professionals:
If the person intended to enter into data analytics field then the scope is really bright as the data analytics market is growing both globally and in India.
