Qualities needed to become a successful leader

The first essential quality required in a leader is integrity. Integrity is something that explains a person's inner values and a person's integrity is displayed through his outward actions. People tend to respect leaders that display good integrity. Magnanimity is another essential quality that simply means to give credit where it is due. A great leader does not want all of the credit of a company, project or job. Instead, a great leader distributes credit where it is due. He offers credit to those who earn it, and readily displays selfless characteristics.A great leader must not limit himself to strictly managing people, but should also take part in all types of activities. It is easier for employees, or others, to do their jobs when they see that their leader, or manager, is also willing to do the same job. A leader should take part in all types of activities, and should never think that certain jobs are beneath him.

My role model

There are many things in life which inspired me. They are my mistakes, great personalities. The important and most provoking inspiration is the hard work done by my parents to raise me till this stage which I feel is the greatest motivation factor in my life.

Initiative to develop a country

India, to be a developed country in future is not an easy task. India has to keep in check the Population, corruption and pollution and and will have to improve the infrastructure. It must also improve social structure and invest more on security. To quote China as an example is that they demolished an old building to construct a very big port to meet future demands, but India is still waiting for things to happen. India in the recent past has improved a lot in the foreign exchange reserves, outsourcing business and in exports too. The profits gained are to be spent for the development of the welfare of the country. Most of the foreign companies are ready to do business in India because of the individual prowess of manpower which will give fast, quality output in a short span. India’s vision for a brighter path will come true not only by mere words or speech, but extra effort needed at all levels to overcome the pitfalls.

My family background

My family comprises of 7 members my father myself and my wife. I am the youngest and have 1 sibling my elder brother. My father is 72 years old he was retired from Govt. service. My mother was a house wife and no more (dead) since 2004.She spend her whole life for us. My brother is an electrical engineer and working in media sector. My brother have a son (8 years) and I have a daughter (6 Years). My wife is a housewife.

Brief description about me

Presently I am working as Project Delivery Lead (East Region) in Viom Networks Ltd. I have over 8 years experience in Telecoms Infrastructure and 5 years in Quality Control (Civil).

Couple of years from now

Five years from now, I would like to be a person whom this company will trust in giving any problem without any second thoughts and be well known for significant improvements in the company.

Thoughts on Education system of our country

I wouldn’t be laying too much emphasis on the drawbacks of India’s public education system because it has been an issue well debated over in the past and the main flaws have already been pointed out before. I will be focusing on how the education system’s failure is leading to another social issue of income inequality and hence, suggest certain policies to improve India’s education system and reduce inequality.The really critical aspect of Indian public education system is its low quality. The actual quantity of schooling that children experience and the quality of teaching they receive are extremely insufficient in government schools. A common feature in all government schools is the poor quality of education, with weak infrastructure and inadequate pedagogic attention.Hence, it is imperative for the government to correct the blemishes in India’s education system which will also be a step towards reducing income inequality.

The man who makes a success of an important venture never wails for the crowd. He strikes out for himself. It takes nerve, it takes a great lot of grit; but the man that succeeds has both. Anyone can fail. The public admires the man who has enough confidence in himself to take a chance. These chances are the main things after all. The man who tries to succeed must expect to be criticized. Nothing important was ever done but the greater number consulted previously doubted the possibility.
