In my opinion it is vital for engineers entering the workforce today to read actively on different functions - engineering , product management & business aspects. This helps them to develop & appreciate a holistic view of functioning of a business organisation

The journey through the product development world has been full of surprises. Tackling the challenges in a creative manner to move cohesively with the team towards the goal has been a very satisfying and a rewarding experience. I continuously strive to add value to the organisation in fast paced world.

Involvement in the Industry

I have successfully lead fast paced Development teams in highly innovative and business critical engineering projects. I have a demonstrated track record of leading product development teams through complete product life cycles with agile response to market inputs.

Changes In The Professional Environment:

We have undergone a massive transition in the last decade. Consumer IT has been on fire with Facebook & Google leading the transition. The same facilities need to be hooked into enterprise environment. All business workflows need to be enabled by collaboration platforms for increased effectiveness.

The Journey So Far:

I work as an Engineering Manager for the Collaboration Infrastructure Business Unit (CIBU), Cisco Systems, Bangalore. Prior to this I have worked across product development organisations driving product engineering across diverse product portfolios.

Working Life Management:

A deep passion for learning, continuously improving the products and process is what makes the job a pleasure. I believe in reading actively, interacting a lot with people and being engaged to stay connected.
