Water Supply:
To review progress and do Quality control of
drawings being generated as per standards. Prepare
presentation drawings in CAD as well as in PowerPoint. Prepare
drawings for Detailed Project Reports Prepare Water supply
Distribution Network drawings . Prepare Longitudinal sections
of Water supply Distribution and Transmission mains (Gravity and
Rising). Prepare General arrangement and piping drawings of
Over Head Tanks and Ground Level Service Reservoirs. Prepare
Standard drawings for Valves and Valve Chambers. Responsible
for detailed type design drawing of water treatment plant.
Structural: Prepare beam layouts for Power plant
buildings. Prepare foundation details for bunker and Turbo
generator building. Prepare G.A. drawings as basic for
structural detailing Head and train junior members of drafting
team Co-ordinate with senior professionals of various
departments such as distribution, process, mechanical,
electrical, instrumentation, architectural, civil/structural,
quantity surveyors, support engineers, draught persons, etc To
co-ordinate in developing and training junior team members to use
in-house softwares, lisp programmes so as to improve productivity
both in terms of quality and quantity of drawings. Hands on
experience and updating on design softwares like Water Gem, Water
Cad, Epanet so as to assist design team. Responsible for
preparation of engineering study report with respect to
drawings Structural detailing of Head works and Water Treatment
Plants of 6.7 to 80 MLD capacity which consists of Intake wells,
Jackwells cum Pump Houses and Panel rooms, Raw water channels,
distribution box, Filter houses, Store rooms, Transformer Yards,
Staff quarters, Approach bridges, Retaining walls (Cantilever,
Gravity and counter fort) on piles and rafts etc, Structural
detailing of Over Head Tanks (0.25 million to 1.5 million litre
capacity) on pile as well as raft foundations, Ground Level
Service Reservoirs of 0.5 million to 2.5 million litre capacity,
Sumps. Structural detailing of Intermediate Pump Houses, Valve
Chambers, Thrust Blocks, Anchor Blocks, Pipe supports, Steel Pipe
Rack for clear water transmission mains (40 m span) and 800 m
length pipe bridge with steel superstructure and R.C.C. Structure
across River Nethravathi for carrying clear water transmission
main. Structural detailing of Underground Drainage Works for
Mangalore and Udupi which consists of 535 Km of Pipe line - R.C.C
Manholes, Wet wells cum Pump houses both open excavation and by
well sinking, Screen chambers, junction chambers, all units of
Sewage treatment plants, Box culverts, R.C.C Slab culverts, Pump
houses, Thrust block, Valve chambers, Septic tanks, other
necessary buildings like DG Room, Operator room etc.,
Structural Detailing of multi-storeyed buildings, commercial
complex, market buildings, residential buildings, bus stands and
public utility buildings, Public Toilets, Community halls and
other allied works, Drain walls, Pedestrian bridges,
Culverts. Structural Detailing of Processing shed, Aerobic
Composting sheds, Vermi Compost sheds, Administrative buildings,
Parking facilities, for composting plants for Solid Waste
Management of Mangalore, Udupi and Kundapura towns. Structural
detailing for RCC box culverts, Gravity Retaining walls, RCC
drains for Road and Cross Drainage works. Water

for a length of about 800Km and Transmission Mains for a length
of about 65 Km for three towns (Using Water-Cad). General
