Could you tell us briefly about your family background?

I am from Visakhapatnam, in the state of Andhra Pradesh. My father works as a General Manager in an international travel agency company. My mother is a housewife taking care of my family. I have one younger brother. He is currently working in Brisbane, Australia.

Most Important Decisions

There are few decisions I made in my life that brought me to the stage where I am. I decided to come to US for Master's instead of doing in India. Then I decided to continue to do my PhD instead of looking for a job. I think these two helped me to gain good expertise in my field.

Most Important Lessons

The lesson I learnt from my professional life is I have to do more research on any topic before I take decision on that.

Degrees that Matter

I work mainly on solar cell fabrication and technology development. I do not have any experience or certification in QA/Testing domain.

Parting thoughts

My advise to anyone is we have to enjoy the work what we do. If we aren't enjoying the work, then it might not be right for you.

My main responsibility is to develop new technology in solar cell field. My work involves Research and Development in semiconductor/solar cell technology.

I work in Applied Materials as Senior Process Engineer with focus on developing new technology to improve the efficiency of solar cells.
