I think a career inflection point occurs when I stop working at jobs that will get me jobs that I want, and I arrive at those latter jobs.

Most Important Lessons

Starting over as a beginner is a refreshing, and empowering step by addressing people’s needs that keeps me engaged all time and making me proud of doing professional activities.

Plans for the Future

Couple of years ago, I would have never assumed I would be where I am today. The best thing to do (for me at least) is to think only as far as next year, the further out you go, the more guessing you have to do.

By the time, I started my carrer in QA area, I only needed to settle with Manual Testing. With the emerge of Automation, the effectiveness, efficiency and coverage of the software testing has grown rapidly.

Most Important Decisions

During my initial career stage, I had difficulty choosing between two equally good Domains. When I initially started my career, I learnt a lot in Networking. Later when I get chance in Mobility area, I initially find too difficult to switch, but I had to move in Mobility after analzying all areas.

Essential Advice

The QA Domain is not critical for someone who needs to start their career in. They must understand Software Testing Life cycle model, process, Testing Methodologies and Startegies before they get into practical.

Degrees that Matter

ISTQB certification must help for someone who is making their footprint into QA domain. This should not give you awareness of Testing Process instead definitely help to make quick decisions as well.

My overall career journey so far is fruitful and I'm very pleased with the path my career has taken to date. I've made a series of conscious decisions that have led me to when I'm writing this.
