Client : British Telecom,
UK Description of the project : SPACE is an automated
provisioning and problem management system which enables complex
workflow processes to be defined and executed. It utilizes
Clarify's Clear Support package, which has been customized and
enhanced with interfaces to other BT operational support
systems. Worked as a member of the SPACE CST (Component System
Testing) team which liaisons between SPACE Dev Team to prepare
the required test cases & execute them for all the Change
Requests being worked on. The team also interacts with other
external teams such as eLink, eCo, STAA, CSS, WM, BIP, SIDB,UII
etc for their NBT (Next Box Testing) needs. The below lists
down the various responsibilities: 1. Produces test scripts and
procedures to test new and amended software. 2. Interprets,
executes and documents complex test scripts using agreed methods
and standards. 3. Reviews test results and modify tests if
necessary. 4. Produces reports on system quality and metrics on
test cases. 5. Captures defects on defect tracking
system. 6. Works on Defect Prevention activities post completion
of CST.
