• Resolving credit card disputes by adhering to the procedures
laid by credit card associations (Visa and Master card) with in
the time frames.
• Reviewing and analyzing all the
information given by cardholder to decide under which reason code
of Visa or Master card does that fit and processing Charge Back
accordingly.
• Preparation of Financial worksheets (Charge
backs, suspense A/c, Write offs, etc.)
• Calculations of
Finance Charges and making necessary monitory
adjustments.
• To correct the payment history and
delinquency of the customer.
• Ordering sales drafts from
the acquiring bank, analyzing and sending it to cardholders to
validate of charge.
• Sending letters to cardholders to
gather more information required to process a charge back and
also to intimate about merchant issue credits, write offs and
other issues.
• Analyzing a case to identify whether it is a
fraud and converting the account into Lost/Stolen.
