v INVENTORY Ø Handling all segments of “ Stock in” like
recording the invoices, checking discrepancy if any and posting
the invoices. Ø Informing the Suppliers about shortage received
and claiming Debit notes from the Suppliers. Ø Handling the
“Stock in and Stock out” for store and warehouse from a
single platform. Ø Devised Inventory control system for the
stock. Maintaining the inventory in a computerized environment.
Ø Reviewing of different contractors and sub-contractors
agreements/Purchase Orders and keeping the track whether
expenditures are as per the agreement. Ø Checking Invoices,
matching with purchase orders/Contract/Agreement and reporting on
difference if any. Ø Preparation and sending of orders.
Ø Coordinating with the shipping department for port
clearance. Ø Arranging the W/H for new stock
arrival. Ø Coordinating with the sales division manager for
confirming the stock. Ø Action internal handling of goods as
per the store managers direction. Ø Random checking of
stock. Ø Preparation of Import Order Approval Form if new order
is to be placed to the Suppliers. Ø Preparation of Landed Cost
Sheet after the order is received from the
Suppliers. Ø Following up with Shipping Agents for Shipment
Arrivals and Freight Rates. Ø Follow up with suppliers for
Shipment and dispatch details. v DEBTORS and
CREDITORS Ø Handling and controlling complete function related
to Accounts Payable / Receivable. Ø Entering customer’s
receipts in the system and updating the Customer Ledger,
Preparation of Statement of Account. Ø Receiving Suppliers
invoices, accounting, Preparation of payment of Suppliers,
Reconciliation of suppliers Ledger and keeping suppliers Ledger
updated... Ø Handling correspondence related to the invoices.
Ø Claiming the amount of damages from the Insurance Company by
providing them all the informations. v CASH and
BANK Ø Preparation of Cash and Bank payments, Preparation of
Bank Reconciliation Statement. Ø Preparation of
Payroll. Ø Preparation of salary settlement to staff when they
go on leave. Ø Preparation of End of Service benefits when the
person resigns and leaves the company Ø Maintaining Petty Cash
Accounts for all the stores and HO, Preparation of Vouchers and
Cash Collection Ø Preparation of overtime payments to workers
as details given by stores manager. Ø Preparation Of L/C’s
for the Suppliers. v GENERAL LEDGER Ø G/L
entries v REPORTS Ø Preparing daily sales reports for Senior
Division Manager and Store Managers. Ø Providing reports to
Stores Manager and Sales Person on daily basis viz. Sales, Stock
availability, Inventory valuation, Damages, etc, Ø Preparing
weekly reports for senior chief accountant, Senior Division
manager, Senior GM and Finance Manager. Ø Generating and
submitting the reports to Senior Chief Accountant for payment due
to importers. Ø Preparing monthly reports.
