Job Profile:

I am working in Tech Mahindra (Telecom service provider company) as a Technical associate. I am working for the client AT&T. my job Profile is Production and Application support. and the role consist to provide support for two mission critical and revenue assurance application for AT&T.

Career Profile:

Role: Production Support and Application Support Engineer
Responsibility:
• Alert handling.
• Monitoring and Handling Introscope.
• Performing manual validations/connections in Unix box.
• ORBIT maintenance to ensure smooth working of applications. This includes checkout activities i.e. health check of the servers of the applications, whether they are up and running through scripts or manual validations.
• Job Monitoring – Orbit has around 300 jobs which run on daily basis.
• Ticket management and resolution using WebTrax and BMC REMEDY AOTS TM/CM.
• Working in Deployments, Triages/Outages of the applications.
• Done Automation using Shell Script and Perl script.
• Incident management, Change management.
• Understanding of ITIL process.

Prized Accomplishment(s):

Well till now its only that I have completed my degree of Engineering in Information technology.

Growth Strategy:

I always learn new things, I am working to increase my knowledge and depth in my current profession. I have set up some goals that I am trying to achieve.

Role Model:

The role model for me is Facebook founder Mark zukerberg. Even though I know some people consider him as an accidental billionaire. but to run a company and social website demand a tremendous mind and abstract thinking. there is lot of competition but Mark is handling it very well and running a company like Facebook is not a easy task.

Working Life Management:

First you should learn to manage yourself. If you are good in that then Its easy to apply same rules in Work life. Time is a major factor in life to balance the things. So Value your time.
