Career Profile:

Currently, I am dealing with coding on various platforms, earlier my role was limited to PostGreSQL 9.2 and application-specific platforms.

Required Reading:

Silicon India would be my best buy!!
I would also recommend Skillpages, facebook and twitter!!

Professional Strengths:

As engineers we are supposed to help build and create,solve difficult problems that might arise in the system. Debugging is one of my attributes and was involved with ERP systems in Infoedge for almost 6 months. I would say my skills lie in SAP:BASIS and PostGreSQL 9.2!!

Prized Accomplishment(s):

I am proud of receiving scholarship to play for India in Lawn Tennis at IGI stadium, for a period of 2 years.Although this is not related to the IT field, I feel that excelling in sports should be anyone's dream.

The Journey So Far:

The corporate world is like a dream, although many of us are mis-informed of its hardships that people have to go through!! However, being in a relatively junior position I am unable to grasp its Grandeur. Opportunities are here for the taking for the ones willing to open their eyes.

Growth Strategy:

I am constantly trying to learn and enhance my knowledge base. Recently, I got admission in Amity University to pursue Masters in Technology. I feel this will completely re-vamp my career, and push me in the right direction.Thank U!!

Changes In The Professional Environment:

Things have become much easier and there is a lesser workload, i feel I am able to deal with issues with much more clarity. Getting promotions is always a boon and better for financial security and family life. Earlier we were bottom of the food chain, now we are 3rd from last!!

Role Model:

Roger Federer & Rafael Nadal : They started from scratch and now look where they are!!:))))))))))))))))))))))))

Degrees That Matter:

I would love to be part of ASDA certification, which is promoted by a number of Fortune 500 companies. I have already received training on Greenfield and SQL, which gave me a big boost to my career.

Family Background

My father is a retired police general, he is now working for the National Minority Commission of India. He could be elected chairman of committee, soon.
My elder brother is an IT consultant, working with the same company as I.
My extended family are mostly settled in places like patna, lucknow and delhi.
I love my family and there is always a party when we get together.

Other Thoughts:

I think silicon India network is a good initiative to help the professional world, and I firmly believe that we can accomplish whatever there is if we set our minds to it!!
