1. Responsible for planning, organizing and directing the efforts
of the Team Members to achieve objectives for quality, sales,
profit margins, growth and return on investment. 2. Direct and
coordinate production, processing, delivery of production
plan. 3. Develop and implement production tracking and quality
control systems, analyzing production, quality control,
maintenance, and other operational reports, to detect production
problems. 4. Review operations and confer with technical or
administrative staff to resolve production or processing
problems 5. Review processing schedules and production orders to
make decisions concerning inventory requirements, staffing
requirements, work procedures, and duty assignments 6. Develop
budgets and approve expenditures for supplies, materials, and
human resources, ensuring that materials, labour and equipment
are used efficiently to meet production targets. 7. Ensures that
the targets of production and profitability margins as planned
are achieved. 8. Re-engineering/ Optimization of manufacturing
process with benchmarking concept (Best of Best) within the
company & globally. 9. Process improvement with a view to
improve productivity, reduce cost of processing and enhance
process quality/conformance. 10. Erection commissioning of
Machines and their up keeping and modification of the
machines 11. Responding to inquiries or complaints from
customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business
community. 12. Effective co-ordination with Marketing to provide
right technical input for acceptance of order. 13. Maintain and
practise the 5S effectively 14. Maintaining and practising the
OEE effectively 15. Ensure sound health, safety and environment
in the plant
