Pioneered all the software quality practices and methodologies in
the company. This includes an introduction and moving the
development efforts to a controlled Source Control system
development using VSS and setting up a new QA infrastructure lab
with Norton Ghost. • Handling the development and quality
assurance practices for a team of 3 Quality Assurance Engineers

• Imprivata Inc is a market leader in Enterprise Identity
Management and Single-Sign-On solutions. The flagship product,
OneSign, is a based on n-tier architecture with a J2EE based
server and MySQL database, C++ agent, and a web-based user
interface. OneSign is packaged and shipped as an appliance in
single and clustered configurations. • First QA Engineer hired
on the team and sole QA engineer to strategize and execute the
testing efforts of the V1.0 product. Transitioned later to
mentoring and leading a team of 6 engineers on site and 4 off
site at our development center in Lviv, Ukraine. • Complete
ownership of testing of all authentication types against various
types of Identity and Access Management directories and devices
for the Identity Management solution of the OneSign product.
Among various authentication types, OneSign supports biometrics,
active tokens, and smart-cards. These included Windows GINA
password interface, fingerprint scanners, RSA tokens, Windows
smartcards, National ID smartcards for European countries, Active
and Passive Proximity Cards, USB tokens. • Responsible for
testing capture and playback of credentials to terminal
emulators, browsers, and native windows
applications. • Responsible for testing OneSign interface and
compatibility with Fischer and Courion Provisioning
Systems. • Other testing responsibilities included appliance
provisioning, failover, failback, restaging, backup and restore,
and migration via a web based UI across various
browsers. • Instrumental in setting up a virtual
infrastructure (WMWARE) for Imprivata’s OneSign Demo product
along with the functional and regression testing of the demo
product. • Responsible for testing the Physical/Logical
Convergence solution with Tyco and Honeywell Access Control
Systems in accordance to their compatibility with Imprivata
OneSign Physical/ Logical Solution product. • Typical
activities during release cycles included creating and reviewing
