Accomplishments Joined with S & S Industries, Pondicherry
in 1981 as Marketing and Sales Personnel Worked at Easun
Group of Companies for 4 years in Material Functioning’s and
achieved ABC analysis Programmer for near by 5000 Components and
ROL was fixed. So that Material Flow in JIT process was
successfully attained. Worked with M/s.Hindustan Motots
Limited (AVTEC), C K Birla Group of Companies at Hosur for 19
years as Leader in General Material Functioning, Raw Material and
Capital Procurement, Contract Management, Imports functioning’s
and licensing ,Co-ordination with Imports Clearance and Fright
forwarders and Industrial Pollution Control related activities.
Core Member in ISO 14001 Committee. Consolidated the indirect
materials grouping and categorized as family like direct and
indirect consumables, lubes, capital packing etc., so that method
of budgeting on annual release of ordering system is successfully
implemented. Reduction in Volume of orders and more concentration
on high value commodity is accomplished. Macro and
Microanalysis is done to group the vendors as standardized,
proprietary, authorized distributors and multiples so that the
follow up system is made so easy. As a leader of Imports and
exports Clearance Section, work card system is introduced for
both Air and Sea consignments so that man-hours are reduced
considerably. Releasing and execution of contracts for Export
/Import clearance and freight forwarding Work sheet for Cost
savings on releasing orders is introduced for all the buyers and
performance is appraised on this so that core value on Sincerity
and Integrity is being practiced. Inter action with Government
Institutions like Collectorate and District Magistrate, JDGFT,
TNPE, etc. and Ministry is maintained smoothly to obtain all the
licenses in time. CFT was formed to consolidate all the welfare
related purchase, man/ material transport and all the purchase
activities of the company have been brought under one umbrella
system, which is now controlled by Materials department so that
collective negotiation is achieved, which has reduced 30%
documentation process and saved about 25% cost. The Project is
completed on the consolidation of requirement of packing items
for leveraging on price for all the divisions in India. On
implementation of New Conversion Method of Packing, the Company
is saved about 25-30% on the total expenses on
Packing. Co-ordination with ERP ORACLE team on implementation
of material management activities and successfully
achieved. Fixing the responsibility and PMS value for all
buyers and other team members and measuring. Maintenance of
Ware House activities like receiving, issuing, binning and
perpetual inventory etc. Working as Manager-Materials in TAB
INDIA Granites (P) Ltd since June’2008 and leading the entire
operations of Materials and new projects. Civil Award
