· The job responsibilities include working out themes for the
Issues and corresponding with various eminent architects in the
industry to outsource material related to the
themes. · Editing/fine tuning the various write-ups including
articles, research papers, interviews, etc, written by various
professionals that include industry stalwarts. · Giving
suitable titles/headlines to the write-ups. · Selecting visuals
and writing captions for them so that it brings out the content
of the matter well. · Liaising with the art department for
appropriate page layouts –helping the designer to select the
right colour schemes, placement of pictures, architectural
drawings, etc. · Fitting the designed pages, if the need be,
with additional boxes, quotes, blurbs, and such other design
elements. · Proof reading the designed pages to ensure that
they are error-free. · Working out the pagination. · And
finally sending the magazine to the press.
