Ensure smooth dispatch of material as per orders in optimum
time with best economical way. Material management as per
customer requirement & orders and separate place for slow moving
products (Not covered in order). Making Daily Report of the
Dispatch and Stock. Regular follow-up with internal dept,
like coil yard & south yard section to confirm the availability
of material to dispatch different zones & get rake status.
Loco’s/forklifts are properly used at the time of
placement/completion/loading of steel rakes. Regular maintenance
of equipments/cranes are being carried out. Regular updation
of physical stock & coils are kept as per SPTS entry. Avoiding
edge damages & breakage of strapping at the time of
lifting/tilting/loading of coils. Daily Dispatch Plan with
Transporters as per vehicle capacity for various destinations as
per requirement of Marketing. Maintaining minimum stock of
finished product. Ensure the Railway Dispatch within the
free Time Period. Coordinating for Making the Invoicing,
Quality Certificate, Road permit of each item. Take care of
safe practices and ensure the housekeeping of work area on
regular basis. Making of documentation of ISO / OHASAS /DQC
as per standards. Ensure training of outsource Employee &
verification of contractors bills & maintaining the record of the
same. Using the Oracle database system (SPTS) to enter
various data of user department. Co-ordination with
transporters for proper flow of vehicles & other
issues. Manpower planning and coordination for preventive
and shutdown maintenance. Optimum utilization of
loco’s/forklifts to minimize overheads. Proper & regular
maintenance of equipments and cranes. Ensures that wagons
should be loaded with max capacity it should be such that
under/excess loading is avoided. To minimize truck turn
overtime & fast unloading of coils/slabs at north yard.
