Most influenced factor
I am big follower of "Do what your heart say". I realized it quite early in my professional career that I love to be around people. So I choose human resources as my major subject for post graduation. On top of that I loved to speak and share information and knowledge with people.
So I with few of my friends started a club at college which trained and prepared students for soft skills and professional interviews etc. Post college I continued to leave my dream and from being in HR at an organization I quickly shifted to the Learning & Development dept. So I know that is what I always wanted to do and today I have made some mark in the L&D industry.
So its very important to realize that career objective has to be aligned with something you love and care about. And the most important thing follow your heart it will never ditch you.
"Don't do big things, Do small things in BIG way".
Most proud accomplishment
Being a young training professional, people take you for granted. But I know I have been true to my profession so now when I look back and see that in 4 years of my work in L&D, I have been able to touch the lives of 1500+ participants and trained for more that 3000 man hours. And the biggest accomplishment is when people remember you and your teachings, as a trainer you feel happy and satisfied.
Challenges facing by students
I think students in the new world want everything quick. Patience is one thing that is lacking big time in today's world. And secondly we are paralyzed without the help of technology. I think because of each access of technology we are not using our potential to the most.
Second problem with students is that they do not spend time in honing their skills.
Favorite Books and Articles
I usually read a lot of articles online, watch a lot of videos online. Recent book I read was by Marlee Adams " Change your questions, change your life". The clear understanding after I read the book was, it not always important that you know all the good answers, the skills which we should master is that you should know how to ask good life changing and meaningful questions.
Career Expectations
Learn-Unlearn-Relearn is the ground breaking funda. In addition to this I have met so many people who are like gurus in the field of L&D in India. The best and the most common thing among all of them is being humble and grounded to whomsoever you interact. Invest in your learning.

View s for better India
Yes, students should come up and stand as a nation.
