I am working with Swatch Group for Tissot in India since August
2005. As All India Sales & Marketing Manger, I am responsible for
the overall brand performance with specifics of top line and
bottom line, strategy, marketing and key focus on retail
development. I have successfully progressed with the brand by
establishing a robust distribution and retail network. Prior to
this I use to handle sales for North & East India for Tissot.
Tissot is an exciting brand and am sure that we will be the
leading watch brand in India by 2009. I am proud to got
recognition at various occasions and represented India at various
international platforms. Till July 2005, I was working with
Citizen Watches (India) Pvt Ltd as an Area Manager – Retail and
have had an exposure to retailing and key markets of North India.
Prior to this I had a long stint with Titan Industries Ltd and
was a part of the initial launch of their brand and the retail
set up thereafter. I have done my schooling from St.
Joseph’s Academy, Dehradun and Commerce / M.A. (Economics) from
Christ Church College, Kanpur. I pursued MBA with marketing
specialization from Institute of Productivity & Management,
Kanpur. I have participated in Management Development Programme
on 'Rethinking Marketing Communication' & Motivation at XLRI,
Jamshedpur. At various occasions I have represented my
organizations, institute, college and school at various national
and zonal level competitions and meets. I am a team player and
firmly believe that two heads are better than one and five heads
are better than two. I have high interest in technology,
traveling, sports and music. I am in close contact with my
past employers and companies and feel very dearly for the work
done. I also feel that to deliver one needs to be passionate
about the brand and company and fortunately I have had wonderful
organizations and people to work with. Best
